This is the original Tune Trapper Antenna designed and manufactured by ECS Corp. that has so impressed our customers since we introduced it in 2006. It was designed by our engineers to be Concealed - that is, plug it into your receiver/radio and place the antenna out of sight behind or underneath the unit or on the floor back of the cabinet or table. Anywhere you want. The Tune Trapper requires no power, no ground, no amplifier. It is a full 1/2 wave helical dipole antenna hand made in the USA with the highest quality components. Cable is Belden 95% copper braid shielded to eliminate EMI noise. The antenna is sealed in a flexible PVC housing that is both dirt and water resistant. All connections are soldered. Each antenna is hand tuned, using special instruments, to the FM Band 88-108 mhz and individually tested to ensure crystal clear reception. Handles HD transmission and WeatherBand. The Tune Trapper is 1/2 inch in diameter, 24 inches in length, and comes with 6 feet of 75 ohm shielded R6 coaxial cable terminated with a screw-on male F connector (standard cable TV type). Today's quality radios and receivers have good tuners and preamps built in - they are just looking for a properly tuned antenna to make them Rock!
